As we look forward to the rest of the year, we want to share some of the exciting things we are building for WordWave. Our community has grown, and your feedback has shaped our development roadmap.
Here are the top three features currently in the pipeline:
1. Leaderboards & Player Stats Currently, your glory only lasts as long as the match. We are working on a global leaderboard and persistent player profiles so you can track your total wins, fastest guesses, and most played categories.
2. User-Submitted Categories We want to give you the power to play with your own words. Soon, hosts will be able to create custom rooms using their own word lists—perfect for teachers, study groups, or inside jokes among friends.
3. Tournament Mode For our most competitive players, we are designing a bracket-style tournament mode. Instead of a free-for-all, players will face off in 1v1 elimination rounds until a single WordWave champion is crowned.
